Parent Link Centres

Parent Link Centres are community planned and community based.  They provide parents and families with comprehensive support in the form of four core services:

  • Parent Education
  • Early Childhood Development and Care
  • Family Support
  • Information & Referrals

Each Centre must provide all four core services, independently or in partnership, to be eligible for Parent Link Centre funding.  Because services are community-based programming may differ from Centre to Centre in response to local needs.  All four core services will be provided although the specific programs offered may vary.

The centres comply with province-wide operational and programming standards to ensure that all parents have access to similar types of services and the same standards of excellence.
