Grow Along With Me - Other health appointments

6-12 months

• Child immunizations are done at both 6 months and 12 months.
• Book your child’s one year physical with your doctor.
• The Canadian Association of Optometrist suggests your baby’s first eye exam at six months.

12-18 months

• Child immunizations are done at both 12 and 18 months.
• Book your developmental checkup with your local Grow Along with Me educator or with your public health nurse during your child’s 18 month immunization appointment.
• The Canadian Dental Association encourages a child’s first dental visit within 6 months of the eruption of the first tooth or by one year of age.

18-24 months

• Child immunizations are done at 18 months.
• Book your child’s next developmental check-up at your local Parent Link Centre for 24 months.
• Book your child’s two year physical with your doctor.

24-30 months

• Book your child’s next developmental check-up at your local Parent Link Centre for 36 months.

30-36 months

• The Canadian Association of Optometrist suggests your child have their second eye exam at three years old.
