Information for Parents
Grow Along with Me educates parents on the importance of early learning. Through parenting classes, community programs and health promotion initiatives, families learn skills that will help support their child’s development.
For additional information visit the Encyclopedia on Early Childhood Development website. This site covers 35 topics related to the psychosocial development of the child, from birth to the age of five, and presents the most up-to-date scientific knowledge.
Just like visiting the dentist, having an eye appointment or seeing a doctor, it’s important to schedule a developmental checkup for your child.
You can do a developmental checkup with your child by accessing an Ages & Stages Questionnaire, at your local Parent Link Centre. Please visit the links below for more details about the Parent Link Centre in your community.
